1968 Was born in Saragossa (Spain) in an artist’s family. Son of the Fernando Artal and Maria José Moreno, well known artists.

  1976  Moved to Vigo, where he begins to stand out his artistic skills, winning more than a dozen of infant competitions.

  1984  Awarded with the first prize in the Young Competition of Fine Arts of the  Xunta de Galicia, in the subject of drawing. Finalist in “Artistes Novels de la Caja de Ahorros de Vigo” award.

  1985  First trophy in “II Certamen Juvenil de Artes plásticas de la Xunta de Galicia” in the category of painting.

  1986  Second  prize in “Certamen Renfe de Artes plásticas para jóvenes artistas”.

  1987  Moved to Salamanca, where he begins fine arts in the university.

  1988  Collective exposition in  Sala Unamuno, Salamanca.

  1989  Continued his studies in Seville.  Participate in "9 pintores y un espacio" collective exhibition in the University  of Seville. Open his first individual exhibition  in the Club Financier Geneva, Madrid.

  1990  "Paco de Juan", collective exhibition in Agea art gallery, Seville. Chosen in several meetings : Pintores para el 92, Ron Bacardí, Ateneo de Seville,...

  1991  Collective exhibition in studio gallery, Seville.  Works in private collections as Royal House of Spain, Artespaña, Visa,...

  1992  Finish his studies in the Seville’s University.

  1993  First prize Ademar-Champañag . Exhibition in Roldán gallery, Seville. Exhibition  together with his brother in Sala Unicef, Seville. Finalist of  Ateneo de Seville award, Focus and  Caja San Fernando.

  1994  Exhibition with his brother in Lecrín gallery, Granada.

  1995  Individual exhibition in Sala del Cabildo, Aracena. Collective exhibition in Niel-lo gallery, Seville.

  1996  Individual exhibition in Alameda gallery, Vigo. Exhibition together with his brother Martín Cantero gallery, Marbella. Finalist in “XLV Exposición de Otoño”, Seville and  “XVII Certamen Ciudad de Utrera”, Seville.

  1997  Exhibition with his brother in Albemarle gallery, London. He makes a painting workshop in the Sevilla II penitenciary. Collective exhibition in Lecrín gallery, Granada. Collective exhibition on many cities of Spain and Portugal.

  1998  Exhibition in  Sala Arte XXI, Madrid, together his brother. Exhibition in Martín Cantero gallery, Marbella. Collective exhibition in Ecija´s Palace. Works in Artesur fair, Granada.

  1999  Individual exhibition in Lecrín gallery, Marbella. Collective exhibition M&R gallery, Madrid. Works in  the Contemporary Art Museum of the Real Club Celta de Vigo.

  2000  Double exhibition "Incomparables” in Aparejadores foundation, Seville.  Works in  III feria Artesevilla, Seville.

  2001  Individual exhibition in Granada Capital gallery, Granada. Works in IV feria Artesevilla, Seville.

  2002 Collective exposition in Andalusia’s Culture Foundation, Seville.  Collective exhibition of small size in Haurie gallery, Seville.

  2003 Collective exhibition in Andalusia’s Culture Foundation, Seville. Collective exhibition in Dua-dos gallery, Vigo.

  2005 Double exhibition in Granada Capital Gallery, Granada.
